Unknown DVD/CD-ROM in device manager

Unknown DVD/CD-ROM in device manager

Greetings all,

This is my first post to the software tips and tricks forum, and from what I see so far, it seems like a lot of you are very knowledgable, so maybe someone can help me out:

For a while I've noticed I have an extra device listed in my device manager which shows up as:

AXV CD/DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device.

It also is assigned a drive letter in My Computer (I

I'm guessing this is a virtual drive of some sort, but I don't know of any program I have installed that would create this. Also, if I delete it from device manager and reboot, it always comes back without fail.

Any ideas?

Really need more details. What kind of computer, any external devices? That might help someone help you.

Talking Solved

I solved it myself, actually.. it was Alcohol 120% that was creating the virtual drive.

Yay me!
