multiple HD

I need to figure out where the fastest drives in my system need to be.

I have an 80gb 7200RPM ATA133 drive and 2 9gb 10000RPM SCSI drives.

Due to a system crash, I thought I would take the time to create a dual boot environment between WIN98 and XP Pro. Where should the OS be installed? On the fast drives or does it need the extra speed? Currently I am using the fast drives for Windows swap file as well as application swap files and video/audio file storage.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

You should put your OS's/ applications and swap on the faster SCSI drives. You should use the large 80Gb drive for storage. If you have a RAID controller you could even stripe the two SCSI drives if you wanted for even more speed.

Chris.
