cdkey of windows xp home upgrade usuable with nonupgrade??

Hi, i bought windows xp upgrade a few months ago.
I have been having alot of trouble since the upgrade from windows ME to windows xp home.

Now my question is, if i got the non-upgrade windows xp home cd and used my windows xp home upgrade cdkey, would it work??

Thanks alot in advanced

Probably yes.
But if you got full XP version, you probably got it's cdkey with it, don't you?

No it would not. However, even with the upgrade you should be able to do a full format of the hd and reinstall of XP (this is WAY better than upgrading anyway). It is just going to ask to verify your ME setup disk. As long as you have that they know it's a legit upgrade and you can do a clean install.

as long as you have not done any major upgrades to your "really gay" HP, and it is the computer you plan to upgrade, then the HP disks should work. if for some reason they will not work, then you can try to use the korean copy. but as long as you haven't changed the motherboard or something in your HP, then they should work.
