File sync and backup software help

I'm trying to set up to synchronize files including Outlook on my home network. I also want to be able to backup files across the network.

I cant get offline files to work -apparenty because I have XP Home on some of the comps - I'm told it doesn't support it - true?

I'd like info on good software, low cost or free, for doing backups and sync'ing files.... suggestions?

Why not try the backup utility integrated into XP??

It is a really handy tool and easy to use. I use it on my Windows 2003 server to backup files and can get an accidently deleted file back on again within a few minutes.

Are you talking about system restore? Sure, I use that - is there some other backup utility in XP?

Like I say, I want to backup one comp to another over the network - also need to sync files.
