hi id thought id make a new thread on the matter as i dont want to be leading off topic on someone elses problem. basically i have a toshiba laptop that now doesnt seem to have the drivers for the "video controller" and was seeking some advice, i have spent time on the toshiba website looking for this specific driver and have been unsucsessful.

Did you try asking in the Toshiba forum ? I saw the laptop without the "S" and everything else is the same , See if you can use that , You are looking for the display driver , right ?

Hey , I'm glad you got it What you want for the mouse is the " Touch Pad driver " , I would also get the " Chip Set Utility " as well

well the pad itself is working, i had to double tap the pad to open applications but what i dotn have is the right and left mouse buttons, which are usually located under the touch pad, they just dont seem to be working.

as for the mouse driver, there actually isnt one avalible for my os apparently.

well as i said before i got the laptop from the school i go to, they did a scheme where they bought a few hundred laptops and sold them to the students as a project and now we are lumberd with them at a ridiculous cost

im not sure where the laptops were bought...
