Win XP backup

I'm probably going to have to do a clean re-install of Win XP home edition and I wanted to back up my entire C: drive using the backup.exe facility. It won't let me go through with it without making a bootable recovery disk (floppy). Since I haven't had a floppy drive on any computer for over 2 years, is there any way of getting around this? I mean, seriously, how many machines running XP actually have floppy drives anymore?

I recommend against using backup.exe. There are a lot of freeware backup utilities out there, and you could also use the trailversion of any commercial backup utility. Just make sure you extract your backup before the trail ends.
