Remote Desktop Web Connection Disconnected - Plz Help!

I have had Remote Desktop web connection working for a long time with McAfee installed and windows firewall enabled. McAfee just had a major
upgrade/release and consequently I cannot connect via the web. At first I kept getting page not found, then I went back into the firewall and redid
some settings and now I get the first remote desktop web connection page, pick the screen size and hit connect and I get "Remote Desktop Disconnected" The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try again later....

I have checked all the setting that I know of, it seems that remote desktop is enable. I have added the standard remote desktop port and the port that I picked to windows firewall and mcafee firewall. I checked off the ports on my internet connections thru the properties in my network places.

I can log into remote desktop web thru a computer within my network, it works fine that way. I used canyouseeme.org to check my ports, 3389 says that it is timed out and the other port that I opened is able to be seen as open. If I delete my persistant port forwarding rule in my router and then add it back, for a short time I can see it on canyouseeme.org, but after a short time period or after trying to use remote desktop, it times out again. I called my ISP and they are not blocking port 3389.

I am at a loss I really don't know what to do, I even tried turning off all
McAfee services but that didn't work. I uninstalled McAfee completely and disable Windows Firewall but still nothing. Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Windows XP SP2 Media Center Edition (Remote Desktop does work with this version)
