A program wants to connect to the internet dialog box problem

So I installed this program Veritas RecordNow Max and my computer started saying that Veritas wants to connect to the internet, well I keeped hitting cancel, but this one time I started to uncheck stuff in the dialog box to see if I can stop it from coming up. Well now it just goes straight to the dial up and connects without it asking me if I want to connect.

How do I stop this program from dialing up automatically and get the setting back so the next time any program wants to connect to the internet the dialog box comes up and tells me. Thanks.

Hi Jerry98vert, if you have the same version of RecordNow (4.10) then it's options>>CDDB>>"prompt before downloading information". Try it anyhow

Thanks for the replay, but under CCBD it's on never download. I did go to remote access" and put disabled and that seemed to work, but what happens with the change. Will I have other things happen with the computer when the disabled toggle?
