Unhappy Keyboard and Mouse setting....

Hi,
Was popping out the keys on my keyboard to clean out that sucka, and after i replaced all the keys and tried navigating windows, it appeared i may have accidentally changed a setting;
Now i have an extremely limited keyboard to work with (cannot type, now certain keys correspond with different commands in windows) and my mouse will not let me double-click, or select certain things.

I had a look at StickyKeys and some troubleshooting, but i can't seem to find the solution. I cannot even see where a change has taken place in either keyboard or mouse settings, but it does seem like a settings change as opposed to a hardware error...

...Any suggestions are welcome.

Snakeford,

Go in to regional and language options in Control Panel and see if your keyboard has either US or UK settings, depending where you're from you may need to change this.

Can you give any more info on whats happeninng when you press certain keys? i.e. does " become @ etc?
