Missing Hard drives

So all the sudden when i start the computer i get an error loading OS
after further inspection this is what i have found:
I used to have these:
drive c: with programs
drive f: with windows files (i think) c and f are one hard drive 30 gb
drive d: dvd drive
drive e: cd drive
drive g: music
drive h: pictures and video g and h were the other drive 200 gb

now i get c and f which used to be g and h
f gives me an unrecoverable error when doing chkdsk /r
when i went to reinstall windows it told me that windows set up was unable to access one of the hard drives (the old c and f)

any idea what the problem could be or how to fix it?

It sounds like your 30gig hdd has failed. One way of fixing it it to take it to a Hard Drive Recoverey Company.

The other is to forget about it and get a new hard drive
