Help! Installed Fax. Lost IE and OE

Hi,

Now I know I can't be the only one to have done this. So any help would be appreciated (please).

I needed to fax some legal documents, so I installed fax by using the XP original disk and clicking the Fax box and unclicking the rest. This seems to have deleted my IE (or the link to it's operation, because I was able to get IE7 when I found windows update through START and PROGRAMS.) and OE, which made me wish I had backed by my emails.

I just can't remember what items I unclicked on the disk.

As a besides I also had this XP sound problem that seems to be dominating the forum, but that's now a minor priority.

Anyone done this before?

Go to start - Control Panel - Add / Remove programs - on the left hand side, select Add / Remove Windows components - Place ticks in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Click on OK and this should put them back on the Pc for you.

Fax Windows XP

Cheers m8

What I did before you replied was to roll back my system to the most recent restore point. But now you've told me about this workaround I can restore my Fax settings as well as IE and OE.
