screen resolution

not to sure if this is the right bit to post but anyway problem is ive installed windows xp pro service pack 2 2002.... anyway when it started up everything was fine apart from the fact that everything was biggen than usual so i went to change it my screen says its best is in 1280x1024-60hz but when i go to change it in the display setting it wont let me it the screen goes blank and says input signal out of range it also wont let me change it to any other size's its becoming realy anoying for looking on websites etc as everything is just to big plz help

you need to install your graphics card driver

im having the same problem agein cant remember how i sorted it last time. where will i find my graphics card driver??

If it's the Packard Bell you had the audio problem with, then the drivers are here http://support.packardbell.com/uk/it...2017601&g=2000

this driver will only work if your monitor plugs into the I/O plate – see here – click image to focus http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...0io%20slot.JPG

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
