Help no sound

Im new to this site and I need help my dad is a freak and went though and started uninstalling my programs like limewire and bit torrent and along the way he unistalled and program called "SoundMax" and next time get on the computer my sound dont work and every time I log in it tries to install new hardware so I need help to get my sound back. I will get any information if you need it please help

I'd try following the installation and see where it takes you, but I'm not sure how serious your problem is, make sure you aren't going to render your computer unusable before you do it.

I don't have the CD or anything for board thats that I need help to find drivers if possible
