Uninstalling Danish Windows XP OS
Hi All,
To make a long story short, how to install a North American (English)version of Windows XP on a laptop that currently has Danish version of Windows XP. Both OSes are legal copies. I tried the following and got this error.
Insert the English Windows XP PRO and got the installation window and setup started copying the files (the very beginning portion) and then got this error message: "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer. Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer supplied diagnostic or setup program."
Since the English XP didn't work; I used the Danish recovery disk and chosen the US as region during the setup and continued the setup but after the installation the language is still Danish.
The BIOS is v02.57 American Megatrends, Inc. and the PC is Amilo M1437 Series.
