I goofed! Please Help.

I was putting togather a computer and could not get win xp to install, So I put the drive in my good computer and was going to install it anyway. Needless to say , it went into my disk drive. Now I cant boot my system up. I tried to reinstall XP but I have a SATA drive, and when I F6 and install the drivers for it, it says the file is corrupt, so I cant do a reinstall. My question is, I know there is a file, Boot.ini? that I can modify to take out the installed start up files, or is there another way to get my computer to boot up again?

Thanks for your time

Can you not download the drivers you need again?

they are the sata drivers. I have a PCI sata controller card. The drivers are from the manufactures website for that card.

the drivers are SIS 1331 or 3113 or something like that. its a SIS SATA controler, and I have dled them 3 seperate times to no aveil. I think I will just go get a new PCI sata controler and go from there, that seems to be the easiest step to take

It seems most odd that XP thinks that the drivers are corrupt 3 times! Is there a read me file that you can see when you unzip the drivers?
