Version Number

Ok. Here's the deal. I installed a couple of beta versions of SP1. Before changing versions, I always uninstalled the SP, reverting to version 2600. Now, that I finally have SP1 final, the "for testing purposes only" version number is still on my desktop. It was even there without the service pack. It would say that 2600 was for testing purposes. I tried tweakui to get ride of it, but to no avail. I'm not going to reinstall XP just for that. Any way to get rid of it?
