Motherboard and Processor Upgrade

I am upgrading both my motherboard and processor to P4. For the time being I am keeping the same hard drive.

Will I need to re-install my XP Home Edition, and if so, will I need to re-register?

Any help would be appreciated!

it is best that you do reinstall, and yes, re activation will be needed.

Hi,

XP drove me almost nuts asking questions and requesting files for its new mainboard. Gave up and reinstalled.
