Hard Drive Failing? :(
Hi all,
Recently, i have noticed that chkdsk has been running on startup for two of my partitions (have 4). I cannot format the drives or run defrag on them because they say that there are either system files on the drive or it is currently in use neither of which are true. I also notice that those two partitions are completely empty but the properties show that about 4gb is in use by both partitions. I'm just wondering how to deal with this because i would like to install ubuntu onto one of these partitions. If anyone could help that would be gr8. Thx I hope it isn't a hard drive failing but can anyone tell me how i would know if it is? thx again.
