Unhappy "Your clock appears to have been set back...

I get the following message every time a new explorer window or IE6 window opens. It happens on all user accounts. Sometimes it closes itself. The last number (1571) increments daily.

"Your clock appears to have been set back, possibly in an attempt to defeat the security system on this program. Please correct your system clock before trying to run this program again. If your clock is correct, please contact the author of this program for instructions on correcting this error (report code 0,54943,1571)."

Possibly related: holding shift while clicking on a link in IE6 (to open in a new window) I get the following message: "Make sure your computer's date and time are correct, then enter the FixClock key below, exactly as given to you.

I don't know what FixClock is. I found one reference in the registry and deleted it. No change. I've searched all file names and found nothing.

This may have started around the daylight savings time change, not sure.

This is really annoying. (EVERY new window!)

I would be grateful for any help or suggestions.
