Audio/Video Driver Help

Hi,

I recently intstalled a new hard drive into my computer. It's running Windows XP Home Edition. The computer is a Sony Vaio PCV-RS 530G. Numbers on the back are 28005430 and serial #3016975. The hard drive that was in it was a WD1600, 160 GB Western Digital drive and has been replaced with same (not sure if that matters or not).

My problem is that the multimedia audio controller and multimedia video controller are missing the drivers needed to function. Does anyone know where I can get the drivers that I need?

Wow! I noticed you have a Sony PCV-RS530G computer along with the version 1001 bios file. I have been looking months for that bios! Could you please get a copy of your bios and send it to me? Please? koolkx@gmail.com

In addition to Bookworm's link, you should also check this link, that has an updated Video driver as well as several other useful updates.
It includes the latest bios. Yours is outdated, gunaoverthemoon.

@Kevin. Why would you want the original bios? It is unstable.

All the stuff sony gives out check the system bios. they only accept the original bios.
