about wireless internet connection

hi.
i live in india and my internet service provider (ISP) is called BSNL.
i have a broadband connection for my PC . It comes with a modem and with an ADSL connection .
Is there any way to configure my laptop so that i can use the same broadband connection wirelessly ..., i mean for my dektop PC i plug in the modem to my cpu and then one of the wires from modem goes into the splitter and etc...
obviously i have to switch on my modem if i have to use it . So how do i get the connection for my laptop//...

Hmm.
1) plug a USB wireless dongle into the connected PC and turn it on to use the laptop. It will require the PC to be reconfigured as an internet gateway and on whenever access is required.
2) obtain a hub that has wireless and use that.
3) Replace the modem with a wireless enabled one.

Best I can suggest at present.
