Outlook Express Problem

Does anyone know why, after Windows unpdating, that Outlook Express no longer asks for user identity when opening? Yes, we have multiple accounts, and are accustomed to being asked which identity to start with. Now, the last user before computer shutdown is the one Outlook Express automatically goes to on startup. All tools and options have been explored, but to no avail.

Do you have OE6 SP1? Are the updates you're referring to the latest ones?

Sorry it took so long to get back: Its called a job!

Yes I have all updates. However, maybe the problem is as follows: I had downloaded the Windows update Q811493. My computer slowed down and I noticed from a forum that this update has been causing problems. So I deleted this update, and also noticed a warning which stated that other updates might not function if I deleted this one.

Well, my computer speed was restored and I have observed no other problems, but I wonder if this might be causing the problem with Outlook Express?
