Unhappy trying to reformat a dell 4600

I've read other posts about this....and I'm still a little confused.

in the boot setup, I have it in the correct order (Floppy, hard drive, CD ROM)

but once I press F12, these are my options:
1. Normal
2. Primary Master Drive
3. Diskette Drive
4. Hard-disk Drive C
5. IDE CD-Rom Device
6. System setup
7. IDE Drive Diagnostics
8. Boot to Utility Partition

what am I supposed to choose? None of them seem to be working. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for any help you can offer!
