Red face batch file help...!!!

i downloaded a compressed game and i extracted all its contents into a single folder .,there is a file called setup.bat
and i am supposed to run this file to extract game files..
Now my question is ,
how do i run setup.bat ??????

I went to
start>run>gamedirectory>setup.bat

i get the message ,
windows cannot open this file
File : setup.bat
and when i click use web to select appropriate program , i get something like this

how do proceed next in order to run setup.bat to extract game files..
please help me

A 'bat' file will only run from a DOS prompt, so you need to open a DOS command window first:

1. Start->All programs->Accessories> Command Prompt

2. At the prompt, navigate by means of the keyboard to the folder where the bat file is located (using the CD command).

3. Now type the name of the file (without the 'bat', so just type SETUP)

4. press ENTER
