No Audio Device
Alright. I've recently added Windows XP professional onto an already existing version of it, the sound and everything were nice. I played on it for about a month when I got a virus somehow, I added Windows XP again onto it, and everything worked fine, until i noticed that there was no sound. I checked the audio devices and it says No Audio Device, my sound has worked perfectly in the past. I don't know my headset type, I can't figure out what kind of soundcard I have. I went to system information, sound device etc, but theres just a really big space where its supposed to list the card. I know barely anything about computers, if anyone has an answer feel free to share in the most noobiest way you can.
My video card is nvidia geforce mx420, 58 gb harddrive space, hp, AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2500+ 1.84 GHz, 1.00 GB of ram.
Anything would help, I have a COUNTER STRIKE MATCH IN 1 DAY!!!!
