Printing labels? Page length.

I have a great piece of label priting software that in windows 98 worked fine. For some bizarre reason windows xp still prints the label with no problems, but insists in feeding more labels through as if it is printing a sheet of A4? I have tried most of the options in XP but no matter what I set the printer preferences to, the same thing happens? Is there a way of setting a specific size?

I guess that xp is overiding the page length that the software sends it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To keep Sticky happy, I am running windows XP home on a basic P2 machine. The printer is panasonic and is on my network connected to NT4 server.
