First install the INF chipset from Intel, No:3
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21
If you plug your monitor into the I/O plate then this is your Video driver
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21
This is the I/O plate, click image to bring into focus

SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE INSTALLING JUST IN CASE
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

I have
Detected Chipset:
Mobile Intel(R) 82915GM/GMS/910GML Express Chipset family
Chipset Components
Memory Controller: Mobile 82915GM/GMS/82910GML
I have downloaded the graphics media accelerator which has cured the video controller errors but I'm still getting device manager errors with
Mass Storage Controller
PCI Modem
Nothing I've downloaded has cured the problems with these

Check under the notebook, anything to show the make and model or a serial number
