Question No Audio Device..

This is my problem:

I formated my computer and installed XP Pro. (Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600))
When I tried to play music in WMP it I got this message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."

First I checked the sound options in Control Panel. It said "No Audio Device" and no Sound Playback or MIDI music Playback devices could be chosen..

When I checked the Device Manager -> Sound, video and Game controllers, the following was listed:

Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture Devices
Logitech Microphone(pro 4000)
Media Control Devices
Video Codecs

No audio device..?

Please give me some advice on what the problem might be and how I can solve it ^^'

You need to install the driver for the sound-chip that's inside your PC. Since I've no idea what make or model your PC is (which helps to identify what's inside it) please post that information.

If it's a generic PC (ie not a big brand name like Packard Bell or Compaq etc) then you should post the system information data by running 'Belarc Advisor' which you can download from here:
