Question Computer Freezing Randomly - HiJackThis Log

Hi, my computer has begun to freeze up randomly, it will work fine at times, then all of a sudden it will hang when I try to open a program or tab between windows.

It doesn't seem to matter what program I open, and if I leave the computer alone for a few minutes it unfreezes and goes back to normal for a bit.

I've already run cleaning programs and spyware checks, and defraged the drive as well as uninstalling a few programs that I had recently installed like Adobe 8.

I also disabled Hardware Acceleration as per a tip in another thread. It helped slightly but the system continues to freeze up, it just doesnt last as long as it did earlier.

I'm thinking it might be the Logitech Setpoint Software for advanced configuration of my wireless mouse, I know it has been known to cause issues, but the software was installed for sometime before these issues began which is why I'm not so sure. Also, I know that Zone Alarm and Nrton don't mesh all that well, and it might be that when Zone Alarm updated they started to conflict but I don't have an earlier install version to go back to to see if it would help.

Here is my HiJackThis log, I don't have much experience with HiJack so I am posting here in the hopes someone might notice something I didn't.

Hmm, I have to say yesterday only because it wasn't doing it before I left on vacation and it was doing it when I returned yesterday. Noone else in my house uses the computer.

I really think it has something to do with the Zone Alarm update, but I was hoping someone could look through my HiJack log in case there was something I overlooked.

As i have said i dont know much

But i would double check someone else hasnt used your computer while you were away!

But you could look through your system restore points and maybe go back to when you installed ZoneAlarm update...! :S

Well there really isn't anyone who would use my computer, my mom is the only person who lives with me and she is computer illiterate she also happens to ate computers with a passion but that is slightly besids the point.

I have system restore disabled. I had bad experiences with it in the past and have generally found that if a system restore is necessary, it is better to just reformat and be done with it.
