You say your computer says your sound is connected and working properly? Have you gone to control panel and tested using " sound and audio devices? Click sounds, pick a sound, on the left side of browse button, if the directional arrow turns to a square then your sound is working. You can try downloading the drivers from the manufacturer's site( example--hp, dell) or the motherboard manufacturer(asus, epox, etc.) and the model #. When you install the driver , reboot( always when you install a program) and it should work Good luck Lenny
