Problem installing nVidia driver
I got nVidia's drivers Version: 43.45 in exe file.
During instalation i was instructed to first remove the current drivers (I am using the drivers that came with windows XP).
The problem is, after i uninstall the device, I have to restart. During start up, window finds the "new" hardware, and installs it's own drivers again, leaving me at the exact state i was before.
When I tried to do that without uninstalling the current drivers, and my computer started to stutter, plus other problems occured.
I did system restore, fiddled with norton win doctor, restarted and things seem to be back to normal.
Is there a way to stop windows from findng and installing software automatically?
btw - I need nVidia's driver to use the clone feature which i can't find in windows drivers.
