Windows XP not staring up - works in safe mode
Hello All,
I have a Dell Laptop, which I was using as my home computer for quite a while and it is running Windows XP, SP2
Last month, it went down. While starting up the Windows XP screen comes up, but does NOT load the welcome screen with the user selection information
I have tried the Safe mode and it works fine. I have deframented the drives, tried to go to the last known good configuration - but am NOT successful in getting back to normal start up for the Windows XP operating system
There are no errors, so don't know - what is going on. It is just a hang, while trying to start up
Ideas?
