Computer must be rebooted several times before getting Windows Boot Screen
Does anyone know why this would occur?
Every time I cold boot my computer, I usually get a series of several error messages before the computer finally boots into the Windows Boot Screen and continues onto Windows Login.
The error messages all occur after the initial BIOS check and the 'Boot from CD...' prompt. Here are several examples of error messages I receive after this point:
-"Error Reading Disk, Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart"
-Long black Screen, followed by a prompt about a various vital folder or file missing
After rebooting the computer several times, including up to 30 times and sometimes only once or never, the computer continues past the 'Boot from CD..." prompt and onto Windows, without any problems or errors. Windows XP also functions normally after a boot and there are no apparent problems in its normal function or shutdown.
I've changed boot priority settings in BIOS and messed with other settings, but I've yet to fix this issue. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
