Help! Lost administrator account

I created a new user ID and it became the new administrator.
This new user ID has none of "My favorites" or the "my documents" or other preference configurations of the first, default administrator account. I can see the old administrator account only if I load in safe mode. I want to delete the new user ID
which was given the administrator account and go back to using
the old admin account which has all my preferences, but it won't
let me delete the new user ID since now it is the administrator.
All of my preferences are sitting in the C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator but don't come up on reboot. How can
I restore all my default settings and delete this new user ID?

this is where I get a little confused, so try at your own risk. You probably have to boot to safe mode, log into the "old" admin account, and then delete the "new one". What I am confused about is whether the administrator account will reappear, or auto login or what. You may be able to try copying C:/docs and settings/ administrator and paste the copy into C:/Documents and Settings, then rename it to your new account, and rename the folder that actually belongs to the new account. I really ain't sure, never tried. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer! It won't let me delete the new administrator account in safe mode unless I create another user ID and make it the new administrator account. I can't rename the folders either, since the administrator folder can't be renamed while it is "in use." There probably is some easier way.

ok Just create a new account with administrative privilegies.. login with the new account data and copy from C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator all the files to C:/Documents and Settings/WhatEverAcountYouNeed the acount you want to import the setting and stuff and logoff and login with that account.
I hope the explanation it is not to "messy".

Have Fun !
