More Multimedia Audio Controller Problems...

No sound... I have an AMD Athlon 2200+ and I'm running Windows XP if that helps. Please help.

That only tells us the processor, we need to know more about your Pc.

Make, model etc.
Download Belarc, which will give us this information.

sorry, but all it says under system model is Enclosure Type: Desktop. I bought this computer from a friend so all I know about it is it's from CyberPowers

So basically your sound card has been disabled, try and get into BIOS to see if it's "Auto" or "Enabled" if it is, your sound card could have had it, and depending if it's on board or a PCi card, if it's PCi, you can replace it, if it's onboard, you need to replace your motherboard.

OR buy a PCi card.
