what do you mean by 'buffer memory'?!?

You have physical memory (RAM), and virtual memory (pagefile) in a PC. Different components have their own memory, for example a hard drive has its cashe.

There are programs out there that you can use to release memory from other applications allowing you to use the memory for another application, or for the PC system.
