Registry Cleaners

I am having problems with my pc running very slow and thinking of using a registry cleaner and been looking at Uniblue Registry cleaner.

Has any one tried this cleaner?

Also intested in any other registry cleaners which work well

Hi, dont be fooled by reg cleaners most of them are nothing but trouble if you dont know what you are removing. Have a look at the link and run a full Anti-virus and Anti-spyware scan as well. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...storeperf.mspx

Also run the 'Disk Defragmenter' if you haven't done so lately. A fragmented disk becomes slower to respond over time.

I agree with Monty regarding Registry Cleaners. Many of them can really screw up Windows. Not worth the risk.
