Wierd Desktop Icons

lo peeps.i have a lil problem.i built my pc last week everything was new including HD,all my desktop icons are staying blur,as if they have been left clicked and they turn blue for selection,only mine are constanly selected,this has been the case since my new HD was installed last week.any ideas on how to change this would much appreciated

and also i have explorer.exe running in my processes in task manager every time i start my pc,and it always uses 50% of my cpu power.when i end this process i lose all my desktop icons and are left with just my desktop pic,i can get them back by login off as user in task manager then back in again,but why is this explorer.exe always running?any ideas?

well thnx for the speedy solutions peeps but i have resolved the blue desktop icon issue,all i need to do now is work out this crappy explorer.exe problem then im sorted.at the moment my cpu usage is at 85% on one and 56% on the other and all i have on is my desktop,i can turn explorer.exe off in task manager but this also makes my desktop icons disappear.the only way to get these icons back is to log off in user tab in task manager then back on gain,but this also restarts eplorer.exe????????????????????????????????

ok i found the prioblem and cure,explorer.exe is a process and it obviously cant be deleted from windows,you can turn it off yes but this will also turn the things off which explorer.exe runs ie:desktop icons,explorer.exe although a legit windows system process it is also a trojan,anytime your explorer.exe runs anythin over 25.000k this is a damn good sign that your explorer.exe is infected,
