Unhappy Help with Remote Desktop

Hi,

Hope that someone can help me out here. I have 2 pc's running xp pro and can remote desktop to them without any issues... untill, i reboot one of them. As i would expect, the connection drops while the pc is rebooting. My problem is getting a connection established once the pc has rebooted. I understand that the pc doesnt get an ip untill u log in and that where the problem lies.
Is there anyway round this so i dont have to plug a monitor into each pc to log on?
Hope this makes sense.
Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
