Problems with soundmax

okay guys this is whats up im a gamer i use ventrillo and teamspeak. But one day i turn on my computer and i try to talk in ventrillo. I get a message saying soundmax drivers not found. i cant talk now its been like this for about a week and i used to have soundmax drivers and sb live 24bit but now i only have sb live. for some reason sb live can not compute voice. i open my device manager yadada i dont see soundmax but i see something weird under other devices next to it is a yellow exlamation mark and in that section it has multi media audio controller i cant update it or anything. also i try to put soundmax on my computer with a download but it says the drivers are not found. i have a dimension 4700 can someone help me im mad that i havent benable to talk for almost 2 weeks so please get back to me .
