Question NTLDR missing/password problem

Hi,
I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop A20. No floppy disk drive.
this morning (no new hardware upgrade) it said NTLRD missing, restart, etc... I read on these forums about the Window XP cd and booting from that, but once in the Recovery Console, selected C:,then it needs the Adminstration Password. But i don't have one. I tried leaving it blank, failed, a couple common passwords to no avail.. So i can't proceed any farther.

Has anyone had this problem before? How can i get past this pw prob?

Thanks
