Need help finding drivers

Hi all,

I am new to this forum but after reading multiple threads, am confident that I can find the answers to my problems here.

I have recently downgraded my OS from Vista to XP Pro SP2.

After reformatting and installing the XP, I am having a lot of problems, mostly that the drivers can't be isntalled on my computer. I can't connect to the internet both by cable or ethernet and am missing audio as well as having some video driver problems.

I currently am using a Toshiba Satellite U305-S5107. I went on the Toshiba website to look for the drivers for but since the computer came with Vista, it only has Vista drivers. I tried using thsoe drivers but they are not working. I was thinking of going to manufacturer site for the individual drivers but they are not showing up in the device manager.

Not having an internet connection on the laptop hurts because it can't go find the drivers itself on the web.

I am seriously considering going to bestbuy or circcuity city and using their "geek squad" to help me.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

if your laptop came with vista installed..its going to be hard getting xp drivers , as toshiba would have only created drivers for vista. if its a latest laptop, and there site does not have xp drivers,,then i doubt if they are ever going to have.
