problem with crapcleaner

Hi can anyone help me with a problem with ccleaner, since i tried to remove it I get a problem that if I move my cursoe over anything mentioning ccleaner (either on the desktop, program files or the internet, infact anywhere on the pc) I lose the sreen I am viewing, a blank desktop appears which then populates with ther normal desktop items. in addition if i try to access control panel etc i get a zone alarm alert saying HNOFRISM.OLD is trying to launch .explorer.
I have tried everything using my limited skills and knowledge. If I run scans in AVG or zone alarm to detect a virus it finds nothing. HELP!!!!!
