"blue" folders & files in C:\Windows

Hi all,

New to this forum and to WinXP.

I'm wondering what are all those blue files & folders in the Windows
directory, and why are they blue?

Any folder on Windows XP which is compressed shows is blue (Windows default compression is used to save more space on the hard drive).
