System Restore

After installing Security Update KB943460, I started having problems visiting a secure website. Tried unstalling the update but got an error saying it may have already been uninstalled. Tried System Restore to a date prior to installation of the update, but I get messages stating the computer could not be restored to an earlier date. Used Norton SystemWorks to determine I was missing an uninstall file in the registry.
Tried to reinstall the update, but nothing seems to work.

Have you tried to download the update to the desktop and install from there? Here is the link to it http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
