Exclamation My computer hates me. :'(

I'm sorry to take your guy's time, but I've done everything that I normally did and it's just not working.

Since the day before New Years my computer has went down hill.

Now I have a Toshiba Satellite A65 -S1063 with Windows XP. Now outside of being extremely slower then it use to be. It won't allow me to open any BROWSER buttons on like Photobucket, TinyPic, Myspace. Anything with a photo uploader. When I try and exchange pictures on yahoo a window comes up saying that the action cannot be performed. I can upload pictures to my computer from a camera, but not when it comes to the internet.
I've ran a virus/malware/spyware test from AVG like 50 times and it won't complete the scan. I waited 34 hours with no results, when it use to take like 8-12 hours. I've erased cookies, recycle bin, ran a defragment thing, tried system restore and nothing seems to work.

I deleted files from the computer.
I did have one that I've never seen before called INTERNET SPEED MONITOR. I've never seen that before, but before I erased it I'd get windows that pop up advertisments, and boxes that would say THIS TOOK TOO LONG TO LOAD. Then it asked to Switch to, or Abort. After I deleted it, it finally stopped. But I get the TOOK TOO LONG TO LOAD thing if things take too long.

I forgot to mention the first day that this happened it wouldn't open any file I had. And lost files from yahoo. So I had to re-download it. But now it doesn't do that.

When I re-start my computer this buttons pop up saying that something is missing. I click ok. And another one comes up with a triangle with an ! in the center. I click ok, and it does it two more times.
I've looked for the file and it's no where to be found. If you need it just ask and I'll write it down for you.

Before any of this happened my computer didn't really cause me any problems. It's horribly slow, and I can't get anything done. Everything freezes from 10 seconds to like 5 minutes.

Also. My CPU is always at 100%. They say that's good....but I've never seen it go that high, unless I was working on too many things.

I have no idea what's wrong or what to do. And I'd really appreciate any help that you guys could give.

I'd realllllllly appreciate any help.
Fo sho.

If you need any other info just ask and I'll tell.

Thank you.

Download Combofix from either link and save it to your desktop.

**It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe

IMPORTANT >>> Combofix should NOT be used unless under the supervision of a trained analyst. It can seriously damage your system.

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

Note >> Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall.

When finished, it will produce a log for you. The report is called ComboFix.txt.

NOTE THAT Combofix should never take more than 20 minutes (including the reboot if required).

If it takes longer then open Task Manager (press ctrl and alt and del at the same time) > use the Processes tab and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg then Combofix should continue.

If that happened we want to know so please tell us which process you had to end.

Post the Combofix log in your next reply along with a HijackThis log AND an update on how the computer is operating now.

Since it appears the Op doesn't know what to do, may I suggest checking this thread:
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index...howtopic=13065
It will give some idea of what to do.
