Exclamation really really urgent plz help me

hey

I have a really serious problem with my computer. It doesnt start up into the normal startup screen but only a floating box and a black background. Inside the floating box it says: 'Not Optimum Mode: Recommended Mode 1280 *1024 60Hz' and then after that another box in the floating box with a question mark in it..

PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME OVERCOME THE PROBLEM AND START INTO THE NORMAL START UP SCREEN.. I dont want answers like buy a new computer because I want a way to solve this... pleasepleaseplease pretty please hehe

Your monitor is out of frequency due to a display mode being set too high, boot into safe mode and reduce the settings for your display to the ones in the "floating box" then reboot, all should be fixed.
