Run time error 216 at ....

About every third time I start my Dell 8300 running windows xp v2002 w/ serv pk 2 I get about 20 error msgs that all say the same thing. My security/firewall software is canned - cox secrity suite.

1st error msg: runtime error 216 at 771544f1

2nd error msg: the instruction at "0x51f265c2" referenced memory at"0x014fe70". the memory could not be "read". click okay to terminate program

3rd error msg: runtime error 216 at 51f265c2

They will pop up 15 - 20 times at start up and I have to click through them then my computer runs just fine. If I restart it repeats or just goes away for a few days then its back.

What? Why? How do I fix/stop the error issues

Maybe not that specifically, but that message sometimes is triggered by a virus. So run an online scan and see. Good luck.
