hey guys,

One of my friend is selling his 2.5 yrs old laptop

Configuration:-
Acer
1GB Ram
60GB HDD
Intel Centrino 740
15 Inch
DVD Combo Writer

He is selling me for Rs 15000 , he bought it of Rs 47000

Is it a good deal? Please Help

Hey there , If RS is Russia Rubles ? Than it not a good deal . Acer aren't that great period . If he really paid that much for it ? He got rip off big time .

15000 Rs, works out at £308 uk pounds. thats alot for a 2.5 years old laptop also acer as the othe user has said, its not a good spec. offer him 5000 rs ,thats all its worth. thats about 100 uk pounds. in uk it would be hard to sell a 2.5 year old Acer laptop for 300 pounds. you could get a decent spec Dell laptop for that.

Rs is Indian Rupees ( INR). Hey Generator, I can Shell out only 30,000 INR or Maximum 35,000 INR. Could anyone suggest me which one to buy....

30,000 INR = 383 uk pounds = $760 USD

have a look at the dell laptops you should get a decent one for around 400pounds 800 dollars. heres the dell uk website there doing offers look at the 6400 Duo core 1.7 gig laptop ,3rd one. £399 and its a good spec. http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...hs1&l=en&s=dhs i am not sure where you are what country but dell can ship anywhere i think. reason i would go for dell? good workhorse, drivers are always updated on there site. and they never go wrong. i have had a 9400 dell and its exc. also had a dell 1 gig p4 had it for 7 years and was flawless. also you have windows option. you can have xp or vista installed.
