Question explorer.exe not good or registry info on explorer.exe corrupted

Hello all,
After cleaning my computer from worms and virus every time I try to aces drive C or D I get this prompt:
asking me to choose the program for viewing. After I pick explorer.exe in windows directory it works and I can explore drive content. Than, if I close the windows and try to explore the drive again I get same prompt. I know its something messed in the registry, I just don't know where to go to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

If you select "Browse" and navigate to Explorer.exe, the checkbox will then be unghosted. Check the box for "Always select this program to open this kind of file".
